The VC4SL is a professional processor-based charger with a three-stage TC/CC/CV charging process and an LCD display. Charges 1-4 3.6/3.7V Li-ion and Ni-MH cells of any capacity in sizes AAA/R03, AA/R6, R14/C, D, 10440, 14500, 14650, 16340, 17500, 17670, 18350, 18500, 18650, 18700, 20700, 21700, 22650, 25500, 26650, and 32650 (flat top only). This includes protected 20700 and 21700 batteries.
The Xtar VC4SL charger's backlit VA LCD display provides real-time information on the charger's operating status: battery charge in mAh, battery voltage, charging current, and internal cell resistance. In addition to charging, the VC4SL charger also offers two other modes:
"Grade" mode allows you to display the exact battery capacity. In this mode, the charger charges the cells to full capacity, then discharges them, and then fully charges them again. After the process is complete, the charger displays the true battery capacity (discharged capacity). Another feature is "Storage" mode, where the charger does not fully charge the batteries, but only to the optimal voltage threshold to extend the life of the stored cell.
