We've mounted it on a densely finned heatsink with four heat pipes, so you can squeeze the last juices out of your PC without stressing that it's about to get hot. Literally just mount it (the Spartan 5 MAX works with most socket bases, from older ones like AM2(+) and LGA1156 all the way up to AM5 and LGA1700) and you're done.
