Description - Reinforced Surge Protector
The Acar R8 POWER is a 16-amp, reinforced version of the popular acar-AXON surge protector. At 44.4cm long, it provides eight grounded power outlets. This number is sufficient for most applications, and its relatively small size allows for easy placement even on a desk.
It features a reinforced, two-way power switch, resistant to high current surges, such as those occurring when switching computer power supplies (desktop and laptop).
Protection for the Demanding
The device's built-in reinforced surge protection circuitry ensures protection of all power lines and discharges surge energy to ground via a protective earth conductor.
The device has a surge protection circuitry indicator. The maximum load that can be powered and protected is 3680W.
Convenience and Safety
The Acar R8 Power is both a simple and versatile product, designed to safely power high-power devices, and an advanced surge protection solution.
Unlike standard power strips, it features a reinforced, two-way power switch behind a hinged cover and an LED indicating the surge protection system's operation. Eight 16A/250V double-pole sockets with a protective contact are also available.
Furthermore, the device features a 4-way power cable management system on the bottom of the unit. Mounting brackets for mounting on flat surfaces are also included.
