Этот жесткий диск оснащен подключением SATAIII. SATAIII, или SATA 6GB/s новейшее подключение передачи данных, которое встречается в самых современных компьютерах, чтобы обеспечить достаточную пропускную способность потока данных для SSD дисков, которая уже превышает возможности SATAII. Скорость буферной памяти жестких дисков иногда может превысить пропускную способность SATAII, так как по сущности эта буферная память - SSD диск небольшого объёма (~64 Mb).
