In addition, port-based support, tagging, and MTU for VLANs improve security and isolate network resources. Simple and effective management
The TP-LINK Easy Smart TL-SG105E switch comes with easy-to-use Layer 2 management features, available from Easy Smart Configuration Utility (for Windows). With Port Mirroring, loop prevention, and port status diagnostics, the TL-SG105E enables you to identify and locate any problems on your corporate network. Power consumption depends on cable length
Theoretically, the use of shorter cables should reduce energy consumption, due to the smaller energy loss on their length. However, most devices consume as much energy, regardless of the length of the cables. The TL-SG105E analyzes the length of cables attached to it, and accordingly regulates the amount of power consumed by the ports.
Ease of use
The TL-SG105E is easy to use and install. With Auto MDI / MDIX, no crossover cables are required. The automatic negotiation function detects the speed of the connected device (10, 100 or 1000Mb / s) on each port for the best transmission performance.
