This power supply unit is equipped with a 120 mm fan, which is the industry standard for ensuring quiet operation in average computers. If you want an especially quiet unit, look for one with a fan diameter of 135 mm or 140 mm.

This indicates that at least 90 W out of 100 W of power drawn from the electrical grid by the power supply is delivered to the computer components, with the remaining 10 W lost as heat.
