The HPE TPM module works with programs such as Microsoft Windows BitLocker to increase data security by storing the encryption startup key in hardware on the server, which provides a more secure environment by connecting the drive to the server. This prevents the encrypted disk from being read if it is placed on another server. HPE TPM can also store passwords, certificates and encryption keys that can authenticate server hardware and software through remote attestation, while measured boot capabilities increase the effectiveness of anti-malware solutions. HPE TPM options conform to Trusted Computing Group specifications and provide hardware authentication and tamper detection, preventing TPM from being moved or replaced.
