Kaardilugeja võimaldab kahe pesa kaardide samaaegset kasutamist ja nende vahelist otsest kopeerimist. Lugeja metallkorpus ei ole mitte ainult ilus, vaid suurendab ka selle vastupidavust. Mõlemad pistikud on transportimisel kaitstud kaasasolevate kattedega. Kaasasoleva hinge abil saab kaardilugeja kinnitada võtmehoidjale.
