Kirjeldus
Dateks pakub osta Toshiba kõvaketas, mille 24 TB andmemaht, SATA III ühendus, 7200 rpm pöörlemiskiirus ja 1 GB vahemälu.
Sellel kõvakettal on SATAIII ühendus. SATAIII ehk SATA 6GB/s on uusima põlvkonna andmeedastusühendus, mida leidub kõige moodsamates arvutites, et tagada piisav SSD-ketaste andmevoog, mis ületab SATAII võimalusi. Kõvaketaste vahemälu kiirus võib mõnikord ületada ka SATAII läbipääsuvõimalusi, sest sisuliselt on see vahemälu väikese suurusega SDD-ketas (~64 Mb). Seetõttu on soovitatav valida SATAIII ketas, kui emaplaadil on vastav port olemas.
Tänu 7200 rpm magnetketaste pöörlemiskiirusele tagab see kõvaketas optimaalse kiire töö andmete otsimisel ja edastamisel. 7200 rpm on klassikaline standard universaalseks kasutamiseks nii operatsioonisüsteemi ja rakenduste hooldamisel kui ka andmete arhiveerimisel.
