FLOAT-etapp on viimane laadimistsükkel, mille jooksul aku on juba saavutanud 95% oma mahust ja jõuab järk-järgult 100%ni, laadimispinge langeb konstantse väärtuseni vahemikus 13,0 VDC ja 13,8 VDC, laadimisvool langeb automaatselt 0 A-ni, kui aku on laetud. Kuidas akut õigesti ühendada?
Aku laadimiseks tuleb ühendada D+ süütemootori kaabel õigesti DC-DC laadijaga D+ sisendist 12 V allikani ja valida õige aku tüüp laadija küljel asuva 5D nupuga. Kui õige aku tüüp on valitud, on laadija valmis tööks. Meil tuleb vaid käivitada stardaku, mis aktiveeritakse sõidu ajal. Niipea kui 12V signaal on vastu võetud, lülitub seade sisse, toiteindikaator süttib roheliselt ja aku hakkab laadima. Soovitame kasutada 18-16AWG vasekaablit. Ohutus on meie prioriteet DC-DC laadijate disainimisel seadsime ohutuse esikohale, mistõttu on toode varustatud ulatuslike kaitsemehhanismidega, sealhulgas pöörispooluse, ülepinge ja ülekuumenemise kaitsega.

Our Monolith charger designed to work without trouble with a wide range of different types of batteries including AGM, GEL, calcium, SLA, Li-ion, EFB and LiFePO4 providing them with a stable and safe power source. Ideal for use in 4-wheel drive vehicles, i.e. caravans and campers, trucks, other commercial vehicles, but will also be a good choice for boat and yacht owners.
Intelligent 3-stage charging
The Monolith DC-DC charger will charge your starter battery using intelligent 3-stage charging consisting of:
The BULK stage is the identification of the battery and its needs, charging up to 80% with a constant current, high voltage,
The BOOST stage is the so-called absorption charging, it maintains the charging voltage between 14.1VDC and 14.8VDC, reducing the input current,
The FLOAT stage is the last charging cycle in which the battery has already reached 95% of its capacity and gradually reaches 100%, there is a reduction in the charging voltage to a constant value between 13.0VDC and 13.8 VDC, the charging current automatically drops to 0A when the battery is charged.
How to connect the battery correctly?
To charge our battery, we need to correctly connect the D+ ignition cable to the DC-DC charger from the D+ input to the 12V source and select the correct battery type using the 5D button,which is located on the side of the charger. Once the correct battery type has been selected, the charger is ready to go. All we need to do is to start our starter battery, which is activated while driving. As soon as the 12V signal is received, the unit will switch on, the power indicator will light up green and the battery will start charging. We recommend using 18-16AWG copper cable.
Safety is our priority
In designing the DC-DC chargers, we placed safety above all else, which is why the product is equipped with comprehensive protection features, including reverse polarity, overvoltage and overheating protection.
UVP protection - protects against under-voltage at the output,
SCP protection - is a short circuit protection,
OVP protection - it protects against too high output voltage,
OCP protection - is a protection against too high current on the line,
OTP protection - is protection against overheating.
Starter battery protection - the starter battery is protected against over-discharge with a D+ ignition cable (cable not included).
Home battery protection - to further strengthen the home battery's , it is possible to connect an LC cable (18-16AWG) that can automatically regulate the charging current (cable not included).
